Loading laundry and powder
The powder compartment on the Bosch washing machine is a standard rectangular shape. You have to pull the handle in order to open it. The special stopper prevents the cuvette from sliding out all the way. The powder receptacle has three compartments that you will discover upon opening it.
- The first compartment (on the right) has the Roman numeral "I". It is used for pre-washing, so, as a rule, it is rarely used.
- The second compartment, located in the middle, has a flower. This compartment is intended for fabric softener, starch or special rinse aid.
- The third compartment has the Roman numeral "II". This compartment is used more often than others, it is filled with powder for everyday washing, Calgon for softening water and preventing scale formation and various stain removers.
Only when pre-washing is required is it advised to fill the first compartment with powder. For instance, when our blended laundry or heavily soiled cotton is involved. Avoid adding excessive amounts of powder, conditioner, or bleaching agents. Both your washing machine and your clothes may be harmed by this.
Overdosing on detergents can cause increased foam formation, which can harm the digital module.
Laundry must be placed in the machine drum prior to the wash cycle beginning. Remember to sort the laundry first, please. Certain products shouldn’t be machine washed; the product label should specify this.
Whites should be washed with whites, darks with darks, and coloreds with coloreds; you cannot wash all of your laundry in one load. You should also take the type of fabric and the quantity of items being loaded into account when selecting a program. While it is not advised to begin the wash with a partially empty drum, you also cannot overload it. Consider the maximum drum load when determining the ideal quantity of laundry, and load slightly more than half of the recommended amount.
Start the process
After loading the sorted laundry and figuring out how to connect the equipment, take your time pressing the power button. Verify whether water is entering the machine’s tank and whether the tee valve is open. Once you’ve verified, take these actions:
- turn on the machine by pressing the "on/off" button;
- close the drum lid tightly;
- add detergent to the third compartment of the powder receptacle and close the tray tightly;
- carefully study the washing programs on the control panel and select the most suitable mode;
- find the "start" button and press it;
- wait until the end of the wash, turn off the machine, open the drum hatch and hang the laundry.
You can adjust the program while the washer is running if needed. Press the "start" button, move the program selector to the desired mode, and then press the "start" button once more to accomplish this. The new program will begin where the previous one left off, with the cancellation of the former.
In the event that you erred and decided to wash delicate fabrics at a high temperature, cancel the program and choose the "rinse" option first rather than starting a new one. Thus, linen will cool and there won’t be many bad effects.
