The essence of the Beko PMM algorithm

Dishwasher terms that you may hear include "Program," "Mode," and "Cycle." They all refer to the same thing: an algorithmic sequence of steps that the equipment follows while cleaning silverware. Apart from its primary objective of tidying up dirty dishes, the gadget can also handle additional duties:

  • keeps the dishes intact;
  • breaks down food stuck to kitchen utensils;
  • saves resources;
  • dries dishes.

The dishwasher’s algorithm will change based on the program that is chosen.

A different algorithm records each mode of the Beko dishwasher in the intellect. The user needs to press the corresponding button on the control panel in order to select a program. The outcome of the washing process is primarily determined by how accurately the settings are chosen in each unique circumstance.

Main modes of the Beko dishwasher

The instructions include a description of each dishwasher mode. You will need to solve this on your own if you lose the user manual. We will outline the programs that come with the majority of Beko appliances.

  • Intensive. A mode that provides water heating up to 70°C. The intensive program is ideal for heavily soiled dishes, as well as for cleaning frying pans, saucepans, pots, baking sheets. The cycle duration is 164 minutes. Water consumption reaches 15 liters (varies depending on the dishwasher model).
  • Quick&Shine. A quick hourly program that allows you to wash and dry cutlery with a medium degree of soiling. The temperature reaches 60°C, water consumption is 11 liters. This mode is most suitable for everyday use.
  • GlassCare. A special program for cleaning fragile dishes. Ideal for washing crystal, porcelain, glass goblets, etc. Water heats up to a maximum of 40°C. The mode is suitable for washing items with a slight degree of soiling. Cycle duration is 2 hours.
  • Eco 50°C. The most economical program, designed specifically for everyday dishes: plates, mugs, forks and spoons. The algorithm provides for preliminary soaking of cutlery, their washing and drying. Although the duration of the cycle is almost 4 hours, the water consumption is only about nine liters. During this time, the machine "eats" 0.78 kW – the same as in the express mode.
  • Accelerated program. The cycle lasts only half an hour. In 30 minutes, the dishwasher can cope with minor dirt. The water in the chamber heats up to 35 ° C. Drying stage is not provided.
  • InnerClean. Program provided for the care of the dishwasher. The manufacturer recommends running it 1-2 times a month to clean the internal parts of the machine. The cycle should be started with an empty chamber. It is advisable to additionally use special detergents to remove scale, limescale, fatty deposits.
  • Preliminary. Mode provided for "soaking" dishes. Cycle duration – 15 minutes, water consumption – 3.4 liters.

If you are familiar with the Beko PMM program descriptions, choosing the right mode to focus on the level of dish contamination will be simple. It is preferable to run an intense cycle if these are pots and frying pans. After dinner, a standard algorithm will suffice to rinse mugs and plates.
